Tier I Competitor Pass

Make sure you sign up as soon as you can. Prices will go up for registration as the date gets closer to the event. If you have any questions on the pricing and/or scheduling of the pricing, please don’t hesitate to contact us. All pricing will be altered after 11:59 PM of the last day between each cycle.

  • $40.00 USD (February 6th, 2017 – June 28th, 2017)
  • $50.00 USD (June 29th, 2017 – July 23rd, 2017 [11:59 PM])
  • $60.00 USD (On-Site Registration ONLY on July 28th, 2017)

Volunteer Pass

We are always looking for an extra helping hand. If you are looking to volunteer for experience in management or just to help out and contribute to the experience of the fighting game community, sign up and join the team!

***Please Note:

This is a volunteer position so you are not required to purchase a ticket for Defend The North. Applicants will be processed according to our selection requirements. Once confirmed you will receive a confirmation email.

Defend The North is a three day event. To ensure a clean operation we expect all volunteer members to be available to work a minimum of two 12-hour shifts out of the three day event. Volunteer members who have a more flexible schedule may be given priority. Volunteer members are required to provide their own transportation and lodging to and from the venue. Volunteer members must wear the official DTN 2017 staff attire during their shift. Clothing and/or costumed attire that obstruct your staff attire, are not permitted.

***Requirements:

  • Setting up competitive and casual gaming stations, tables, booths, etc…
  • Managing large groups of event attendees which includes; registration line-up, competitive gaming sections, spectator rearrangement, general venue locations.
  • Badge checking for all attendees at any gaming room entrances.
  • Managing pool and brackets for each appointed/respective competitive gaming sections.
  • Data entry for any and all information concerning registration, tournaments, and possible vendor assistant.

***Qualifications:

  • Skilled at communication, with interpersonal skills which support collaborative teamwork as well as individual achievement under minimal supervision.
  • Successful problem solving skills, with an ability to identify solutions.
  • Detail oriented, with an ability to complete tasks and adhere to established guidelines, whilst maintaining quality performance.
  • Strong ability to quickly learn and share experience and knowledge among other staff members.

Volunteer Pass
